Chapter 184 - Remember About Dad
Hate is always hated, once a traitor is always a traitor, that\'s Bryana\'s view of Elsa. Luckily Dean works from home, which makes neither Alex nor Elsa have a chance to take Calvin.
___
Currently, Bryana is in a hospital, precisely in the obstetrician\'s room to check her womb. She lay down glancing at the monitor to see the image of her growing baby.
"What about the gender, Doc?" asked Dean who had been standing on Bryana\'s left side while Dr. Clara was on Bryana\'s right.
"Not seen, sir. Covered by his feet," answered Dr. Clara sadly.
"But it\'s healthy, right?" Bryan asked.
"Very healthy, Mrs." answered Dr. Clara then cleaned up the ultrasound equipment while Bryana sat up and got off the bed.
After completing the examination, Bryana did a brief consultation then received a prescription for vitamins and medicine, then said goodbye to go home.
___
During the trip, Bryana continued to chatter about the desire for a seven-month pregnancy event by eating together at home and then donating food and money to orphans, street children, and scavengers.
"That is a good wish, Honey. Later I will ask David to take care of everything," said Dean with a smile glancing at Bryana who was getting more beautiful with slightly chubby cheeks and an enlarged belly. His wife became a layman because she did not feel comfortable sitting or standing for long due to her large belly.
"Luckily David can be trusted, you also have to give him a raise salary," Bryana exclaimed, remembering that David was Dean\'s confidant who had recently started work shortly after Monica and Raymond married.
"I\'ve given him more salary, you calm down," replied Dean casually.
Bryana nodded in understanding and glanced towards the side of the road until she saw a park that was not too crowded. "Honey, let\'s stop by the park for a bit."
"To the park?" Dean slowed down and glanced at the park across the street. He directed his car towards the park which was not too crowded and spacious.
"I want to relax here for a while eating snacks seems like it would be fun," Bryana muttered.
"You have everything but you also like to buy food from street vendors."
"The most important thing is that the food is clean and hygienic, I still like it even though it is sold by lower-class traders," said Bryana while glancing outside where there were rows of carts selling various Indonesian snacks. "I want to buy satay there. looks good to eat while relaxing on a park bench."
"Okay, let\'s go down," Dean shouted as he unbuckled his seat belt.
___
when she came out, Bryana immediately approached the satay seller who was a middle-aged man around 50 years old with his rather neat clothes even though he was only a street vendor.
"Sir, I bought two servings that are not too spicy," Bryana said with a friendly smile, while Dean waited for her in a chair provided by the satay cart.
"Ready, ma\'am. wait a minute," the salesman shouted as he moved swiftly to grill a few skewers on the grill, then fan it.
Bryana decided to sit in the chair next to Dean. She sat and watched the satay seller who was still busy grilling her order.
"Honey, he reminds me of dad," Bryana muttered. "Since witnessing our marriage, I haven\'t seen my dad again. I miss him so much, although sometimes I still get annoyed with him for never being open and always hiding things from me."
dean sighed, then put his arm around Bryana from the side and said, "I\'m going to ask Raymond to bring dad here. Didn\'t he promise to come when you were seven months pregnant, right?"
"Yeah, I haven\'t contacted him since yesterday. it turns out that Monica is busy helping him at the office," said Bryana.
"Since Monica doesn\'t have a baby yet, she will surely be bored if she is only at home. Maybe that\'s the reason she joins Raymond to work at the office," said Dean while observing the surroundings.
Bryana took a deep breath and then exhaled, holding her belly which sometimes felt stiff because the baby was already very active, even her breathing became more and more congested as the baby developed in her belly.
"Hopefully she can have a baby soon because it will still be less happy if a household does not have a baby," Bryana muttered.
"Let\'s just pray."
The satay seller had finished preparing a serving of satay which was placed in a medium-sized box with a rectangular shape. he immediately put it in a plastic bag and gave it to Bryana.
"Thank you, sir. How much is it?" Bryan asked.
"Just 20 thousand rupiahs," replied the satay seller.
"Wait a minute, sir," Bryana shouted, immediately placing the plastic containing the satay box onto the chair, then taking the money from the bag that she had been carrying. She took all the money in the bag. then turned to look at Dean who was still sitting relaxed.
"Do you have case money?"
"Wait a minute," Dean shouted as he stood up and took his wallet out of his pocket, then opened it and took out some Rp 100,000 bills and handed them to Bryana.
Bryana immediately gave the money to the satay seller. "This is money for you, hopefully, you will always be healthy and always be given a smooth business," she exclaimed with a warm smile.
"Oh my God, this is too much, Ma\'am. I can\'t take it for granted." The satay seller looked at the money Bryana gave him. he did not expect to be paid many times the price of his satay.
"It\'s okay, sir. I sincerely give it to you. Please don\'t refuse," cried Bryana with a pleading look.
"Thank you, may you and your husband always be given health. Thanks a lot," said the satay seller with a look of feeling because he suddenly got a lot of money.
Bryan just nodded and immediately said goodbye. She turned to invite Dean into the garden with the satay she bought.
___
dean and Bryana sat in an antique wooden chair about two meters long, facing the beautiful flowers planted around the garden. they sat relaxed while eating satay and saw that there were children who were very cool enjoying the afternoon atmosphere by playing with their friends or relatives in the park.
"It tastes good, not too spicy," Bryana muttered as she ate the satay. Sometimes she also feeds Dean.
dean nodded "next time we should buy more to eat together."
"Yeah, I\'ve always remembered my father since I met the man selling it," said Bryana, turning to look at the satay seller who was about 20 meters away from her. She saw the middle-aged man busy serving the customers.
"I\'m going to call Raymond now.. He has to keep his promise to come to our house," said Dean as he reached into his trouser pocket to get his smartphone.
