Chapter 182: The 'Adventurer's Association'!
After that tempting sight disappeared, he turned around and began walking in the direction of the male side of the changing room.
....
A few seconds passed by in the blink of an eye, as Azmond, Crystalline, and Boundless had all put on their new masks. Masks that also seemed to come with a small storage pocket inside thema storage pocket that gave the three of them a matching outfit for the masks.
Azmond came out first. His appearance was akin to that of a sneaky fox immortal, as he had on a long, flowing, sunsettish-looking robe with a red fox mask. He looked like an elegant man who was about to become the MVP of a masquerade party.
Crystalline came out next, as she had on a tight-fitted snow-colored robe with a cute white fox mask. There was only one word to describe her current appearance: \'Mysterious Snow Beauty\'. Or, I guess that was three words
The last one to come out of the changing rooms was Boundless. An occurrence that was mostly due to her spending too much time staring into the mirroradmiring her new outfit.
She had on a candy apple-colored kimono with gold stripes lining the edges and an adorable red panda mask covering her divine facial features.
Both the beauties got a feel for their new outfits and were left quite pleased with how they looked. Though that wasn\'t to say that Azmond wasn\'t a little narcissistic about his new appearance as well,.
However, he had to keep up his \'debonair\' facade, so he wouldn\'t allow himself to revel in his appearance for too long! Lest the girls figure out he was actually a \'slight\' narcissist!
(Trust me, they already know... (In fact, everyone you are familiar with knows of that fact.)
\'Shut up, Narrator! I am trying to keep my face! How am I going to act like a Young Master Peng if you keep on interrupting me??\'
(...)
...
**Tap tap tap**
The three of them, along with Emu, headed toward a new destination after confirming how superior they looked in such getups.
That destination being one that every transmigrator and reincarnator yearns to become a part of at least once in their lives.
The Adventures Association!
Who doesn\'t want to join an adventurer\'s guild and act low-key before showing everyone around you your superior might?!? He sure as hell didn\'t!
"Is that our next stop, Azmond?" Crystalline asked with a quizzical tone.
"Yes, that is our next stop, My Dear~," he responded with excitement building up within him as he saw a large, glowing sign with dark red letters that said...
\'The Adventure\'s Association\'!
It had finally come! The time to enter such a well known organization had finally come for him!
He had been in the world of Asterion for a little over 12 years now, and yet he had just now found an organization like the Adventures\'s Association. Weren\'t transmigrators and reincarnaters supposed to join such a place almost immediately after entering a new world??
It looked like he was a latecomer when it came to the all-powerful adventurer\'s train
\'Oh well. \'No time like the present\' That is what they always say, right?\' He chuckled a little before moving to the large, 10-foot-tall doors that obstructed his view of the inside of the Adventurer\'s Association.
But even without the two large brown doors limiting his view, he could clearly hear all the rambunctious and boisterous sounds coming from inside the establishment.
"Mhmu!" Emu suddenly squeaked.
"You are excited about all the monsters we will soon be hunting as well, aren\'t you, little buddy?" He asked with an expectant smile as he led the girls and Emu into the Adventurer\'s Association.
.....
"Haha, yah, I can\'t believe that Becros really did such a thing!!"
"Could you believe what I saw the other day??? It was a damn Wyvern! I saw a real Wyvern in person!!"
"What is the big deal about a Wyvern?!? Just a few months ago, I saw a Drake over 120 feet long gliding through the skies, firing its fury down from above as it burned through multiple villages before ultimately disappearing one fateful day. No one knows what truly happened to that Drake either.
It just vanished!"
Incessant chatter and boisterous laughter instantly flooded Azmond\'s ears as he took his first step into the environment that comes along with being an adventurer.
\'This will be quite the experience... This place reeks of face-slapping.\' Anticipation for the underestimation events that would come next began to fill up his entire existence.
However, when the three(four) of them entered the Adventurer\'s Guild, the entire place suddenly went as silent as it could be.
"..."
"Are they coming to register? They look like green horns to me!" One of the larger, more robust men interrupted the deafening silence as his gruff voice boomed around the expansive interior of the Adventurer\'s Association.
"..." Azmond ignored the comment made by that man as he focused his attention on the interior of the Adventurer\'s Association.
The entire place looked almost barbaric, as skulls and partial skeletons of a variety of unknown creatures and monsters decorated the establishment. The walls, which he expected to be a deep or light blue, just like the rest of the City of RiverBloom, surprisingly turned out to be a dark brown.
They seemed to be made out of some type of wood that was not from the territory of AquaRing. That much was obvious.
The rest of the interior was all around the same, as there were five flights of stairs that should lead to a higher-level area of this branch of the Adventurer\'s Association.
The higher floors were hidden behind a foggy veil that was even capable of obscuring the view of Azmond. Which must mean that the ones who set up such illusory barriers must be at least of the Peak Void Refining Realm, if not already half a step into the Unity Form Synthesis Realm.
