Chapter 535 They Pushed Me

Chapter 535 They Pushed Me

All of us went to it in excitement, curious about what the chest might contain.

Riklan reached it first and shoved open the lid, the action causing some of its contents to fall out.

He quickly leapt back alongside us until we realised that the things that had fallen out were coins… More specifically, actual silver coins of all sizes.

Looking into the chest, we found even more coins and even several items that looked like artefacts including a few necklaces, daggers, a sword, a chest plate, a dress and even a crown.

"By the Gods…" Riklan gasped.

"I… I can retire with this," Kaelin muttered.

Eita shivered, "I… I can buy a maisonette in the capital with this! Complete with servants and even my own harem!"

Well… I\'m not sure if there are other items inside the coin pile within the chest but I\'m guessing there\'s at least two million coins in that chest…

So even going by the most conservative guess where everything in there are small silver coins… We\'re looking at a split of fifty million Creas per person.

Holy shit…

That\'s more than a thousand times the money I have right now!

Holy shit, holy shit, holy shit!

Is this how people get rich?!

Riklan quickly took charge of the situation, "Alright… Ok… Let\'s calm down a bit here… Can we rely on you to help us store the money with your enchanted bag, Aster?"

I looked at the pile of coins, "Err… Do I just stuff every coin individually into the bag?"

"Is your bag able to store something as big as the chest? If possible, then we can store everything in the chest first before you put it in your bag."

"Oh, if that\'s the case then yeah, let\'s put it in the chest first."

The three of them started to pack the coins that had fallen out back into the chest while I placed my Pack of Folding on the ground, ready to stuff the chest into the bag.

I watched as Eita, Riklan and Kaelin worked hard on pushing every single coin inside the chest, making sure not a single silver coin was left behind.

With great difficulty, they managed to stuff everything back inside and closed the lid shut.

I then opened up my bag and pushed the chest inside, its enchantment doing its magic of folding the giant chest down into a smaller size so that it could fit into the bag.

Once it was fully stored into my Pack of Folding, I turned back to smile at the other three.

But when I did so, I realised that an unexpected force had been applied to my back, causing me to stumble forward and into the hole that the Treasure Mimic had crawled out of.

When I looked back, I found Riklan had his arm outstretched in a pushing pose and the other two were looking at my falling form with dispassionate gazes, my Pack of Folding left on the ground at their feet.

Eh?

Ehhh?

My first instinct was to let my wings explode out from my back and try to fly out from the hole.

But for some reason, there was some kind of force that was pulling me down and no matter how I flapped my wings, I could not fly out of the hole.

I angled myself towards the wall, thinking that I could probably slow down or stop my descent if I could grab on to it.

However, I realised that there was actually no wall and it was just a large empty space I was falling into.

I looked up at the hole again, only to see the three of them peering into it to look at me fall as though trying to make sure that I was indeed unable to get out.

Did that… Really happen?

Did I really get betrayed by them?

For what? Money? Really?

I guess fifty million Creas to split another three ways is still a lot of money… Plus they also get everything that I had inside my Pack of Folding as well…

But the way they did it without hesitation… I have a feeling they had already planned to do something like this from the start.

Bastards…

Seeing that I could not go back up, I looked down at where I was falling instead.

All the way below me, I could see that there was a light at the very end of the fall and I flipped myself around so that I was diving down towards it instead, aiming to use my wings to slow down my fall once I reached it.

The moment I was through, I spread my wings fully and let the air catch me to slow my descent.

It seems like I have entered into yet another cavern that was similar in size as the one above. But instead of being empty, this one was filled with a sea of undead skeletons as far as the eye could see.

When I turned back to look at the ceiling, there was no hole to be found.

Ugh.

Ok, not a big deal… I just need to get to the stairs and then use it to return to the surface and find those three fuckers.

Seriously, what did they think will happen? Do they believe that I can\'t fight my way out of the Dungeon alone?

Ah, of course they don\'t. They think that I only have healing and light magic, don\'t they? Well they\'re gonna learn today and I\'m not going to let them off for this.

Once I get out of here, I\'m taking all that money and leave them with nothing. And maybe also break their legs and their faces.

I heard a whizzing sound and quickly ducked to the side, just in time to avoid several arrows that were shot at me from below.

Right, I guess I should focus on getting out of here first. Now where is the--

The cavern rumbled once again and a pillar of fire erupted from the centre of the cavern.

I thought another Treasure Mimic was making its appearance or something but unfortunately, I wasn\'t that lucky.

When the fire dissipated, a giant skeleton the size of a Magridar was left standing there.

Wait…

I turned to look at the exit of the cavern, only to see it obscured by a wall of fog.

Fuuuuuuuuck… This is a boss room!!

I quickly used [Screened] on the giant skeleton.

[Name: Undead Magridar Skeleton

Race: Monster

Stats:

400 Strength

20 Dexterity

150 Endurance

200 Magic]

Hmm… Well alright then.

I dove down towards the boss monster, the undead skeleton raising its head slowly to look at me with its empty sockets.

All it managed to see was me enhancing my strength with Electromancy and Iatromancy before I punched it across the jaw with my fist.

There was a loud \'crack\' as the entirety of its lower jaw was shattered into pieces, the force of my punch also causing it to stumble back a step and crush quite a number of skeletons underneath its bony foot.

I was not done yet as I flew towards it and buffed my other fist, delivering a second punch across it cheekbone and breaking an entire portion of its skull and causing it to lift off the ground for a short moment before it fell on its side, skidding across the ground and crushing even more skeletons underneath its body.

I then flew above it until I was hovering right above the Undead Magridar Skeleton\'s head, lining myself up properly before I dropped down on top of it with my buff centred on my leg.

The boss monster tried to push itself up, only for me to crash down on top of its head like a meteor and completely shatter the rest of its skull.

I landed on the ground in the classic three point landing, right before the boss monster crashed down behind me and threw up a cloud of dust.

Easy game.

I was still not in the clear yet as the other smaller skeletons were still present but that was no issue to me as I called up as many of my summons that I could fit in the immediate vicinity from my shadow, flooding the entire area around me with them.

All of them then started smashing the undead skeletons into pieces, their stats far superior to this mob of undead monsters.

I didn\'t even need to do anything aside from calling up more summons as more space was cleared, giving me the chance to start dissecting the boss skeleton for its parts.

Yes, I don\'t have my Pack of Folding now, but I was intending to just call out my summons to carry the parts for me. Ain\'t no way I was gonna let all these parts go to waste! I\'m a hoarder, ok?!

Oh, and of course I was going to get all the Mana Crystals from the skeletons my summons were currently smashing apart too, those are potential money too!

Once I\'m done here… I\'ll go and find those three bastards!
