Chapter 710 - Rebellious Fellow
Chapter 710: Rebellious Fellow
“What’s wrong, you still don’t consider it shameful? Want to hear me say it one more time?” Wei Wuji raised his brows and asked teasingly.
“Wei Wuji, what exactly are you trying to do?” Ye Qingyun bellowed in embarrassment, now completely unbothered about Ling Chuxi and the others.
“I recall you mentioning that since that fierce sword has appeared, nobody would bother about taboos, so I was thinking... If I killed off the young master of the Heavenly Star Sect, nobody would find out,” Wei Wuji murmured contemplatively, rubbing his chin as if deep in thought. He looked like he was seriously considering it, and Ling Chuxi and the others were stunned.
“Y-You dare!” Ye Qingyun was momentarily stunned and then roared.
“In this world, there are things that I, Wei Wuji, am unable to do. However, there is nothing that I, Wei Wuji, do not dare to do. Don’t you know this?” Wei Wuji smiled playfully as he approached Ye Qingyun slowly. His hand reached behind his back and he drew out a sword that was pitch black like ink. There was not the least bit of light on it, giving off an incredibly heavy feel.
An invisible suppression started to diffuse in the air!
“Ah, I forgot to tell you... I actually find you extremely unpleasant, but I just never had the opportunity to take your head off. Now that you’re injured, I feel like I really shouldn’t let such an opportunity go,” Wei Wuji said with a cheerful smile, as the familiar hue of True Qi started to flow on his black sword.
With that seemingly harmless smile of Wei Wuji, the atmosphere started to get heavy again.
“Wei Wuji, you dare! Aren’t you afraid that my Heavenly Star Sect will come after your Black Sword Sect?” Ye Qingyun demanded sharply, his heart pounding anxiously. He knew Wei Wuji’s cultivation and personality, and knew that he was perfectly capable of doing something like that. Thinking about it, Ye Qingyun broke out in a cold sweat.
“What does that have to do with me? Those old geezers of the Black Sword Sect should all die, then I can be the sect master of the Black Sword Sect! Hahahaha!” Wei Wuji laughed loudly without a care.
“You crazy person! So disrespectful!” Ye Qingyun snarled furiously as the sword in his hand hummed. His eyes were alert, as if he was about to fight a vigorous battle with Wei Wuji. In the end, he speedily put his sword back into its sheath, turned around and fled. He was running so fast, it almost looked like he was flying.
Ling Chuxi never would have thought that the bloodthirsty Ye Qingyun would run off just like that. This Wei Wuji was indeed an interesting person. She could not help but take a couple more looks at Wei Wuji. He was completely different from when she had met him earlier. How was it that after a few hours, he had become another person altogether? A couple of hours ago, he was still a humble gentleman with a polite and dignified manner. How was he so crazy and arrogant now?
“I never thought that you would actually manage to comprehend the Clear Wind Sword Play. You are much smarter than that useless Feng Wuying,” Wei Wuji said to Jiang Wuhen admiringly as he approached them.
“My name is Jiang Wuhen, thank you,” Jiang Wuhen replied with a calm expression.
“Jiang Wuhen? So you really don’t want to return to the Clear Wind Sect anymore, eh? Well, those old fools of the Clear Wind Sect are truly mad, wanting to marry off a perfectly fine son. Why don’t I give you a suggestion? Get rid of that trash Feng Wuying, and in the future, you’ll become the sect master of the Clear Wind Sect. Whatever family name you want to have, you’ll have. What do you think?” Wei Wuji patted Jiang Wuhen’s shoulders, his tone careless but strangely earnest.
Jiang Wuhen blinked a few times. The Great Fortune Teller Jiang, who had walked through the North and the South to swindle the world, was currently speechless. Only Wei Wuji could say such rebellious words.
