Chapter 507: Devilish Human
Chapter 507: Devilish Human

Lu Li already wanted to chase back to the Barbarian Race’s base camp before he sent Jiang Qiling and others back to their base camp. The only reason he didn’t do it last time was because Jiang Qiling stopped him. He had been wandering around for half a month and had lost his sense of direction. Accidentally, he had found the Barbarian Race’s base camp.
Destiny…
There were scouts patrolling outside the Barbarian Race’s base camp. Lu Li coming over in such an open way alarmed those scouts. In an instant, some barbarians screamed and dashed toward Lu Li in rage.
However, when one of the barbarians saw it was Lu Li, he was scared to death. His bell-like eyes were filled with horror. He raised his head and roared, alarming all the barbarians resting in the base camp.
In the middle of the base camp, there was a cabin from which came out a smaller barbarian. His skin was not brown like others, but a brownish black and his horns were shorter. He glanced to the distance and saw a puny human with a saber on his back walking his way over to the base camp. The barbarian showed anger and he said in the human language, “D*mn human. How dare he come here to our base camp?”
“Woo, woo~”
This small barbarian yelled in a strange way. All the barbarians in the base camp began to gather around him. He pointed to Lu Li in the distance and mumbled something. More than 1000 barbarians dashed out in fury and hundreds more went to the sides. Clearly, they planned on encircling Lu Li.
“Bang, bang, bang~”
What was it like when 1000 barbarians went rushing on together?
It was like 10,000 beasts were marching. A surge of powerful and intimidating qi spread over from the distance, shaking the mountain and shattering the ground. One might think there was an army of 10,000 charging -oppressive and suffocating.
“Hmm!”
Lu Li saw the barbarians coming to the sides. He understood very well what the barbarians were up to. They were trying to close up on him and kill him with thunderbolts. But he was not stupid.
“Buzzing~”
Lu Li generated clones. More than 60 clones began to dash to all directions and average barbarians could not tell those apart. Lu Li himself ran to the left. He could not kill all those barbarians at once. He must take baby steps.
More than 1000 barbarians were rushing on, preparing to tear this puny human apart alive. But they were all stunned by Lu Li’s clones and they could not tell where he really was. Their formations were shattered as they realized some clones were coming at them…
“Boom, boom, boom~”
Many iron chains and copper hammers were wielded to smash at those clones. Huge pits appeared on the ground and dust were stirred up. The loud noises were never ending.
By the time all the clones disappeared, Lu Li had made his way to the left. Once again, he generated clones, released golden needles of psychic power and began slaughtering the barbarians on the left side.
Since his soul attacks relied on his psychic power, he could launch attacks from the distance. He was nowhere near the barbarians so they could not use their iron chains and copper hammers to hurt him. They couldn’t even generate thunderbolts before they felt chaos in their souls.
“Roar, roar~”
The barbarians bellowed in rage as if they were a bunch of spooked bears. They shouted and ran toward Lu Li.
As he had been doing!
Lu Li employed the old strategy. He kept producing more clones to confuse the barbarians. Then he would find a target. He would go here and there and leave right after he managed to kill some. He never lingered on in one fight.
“Boom, boom, boom~”
Every time Lu Li made a move, he could crush the heads of four or five barbarians who all fell to the ground with their heads chopped off. The blood tainted the ground outside the base camp red.
Some of the barbarians had seen how ferocious Lu Li was but many more hadn’t. Instead of getting afraid after witnessing so many barbarians being killed, many began chasing Lu Li around crazily while roaring.
“Ha, ha, ha!”
Lu Li would laugh out every now and then to provoke the barbarians. Next, he would lure a group of barbarians into the distance. There were too many barbarians after all. Being encircled and hit by thunderbolts was no joke. He could survive but it was still dangerous.
Hence, Lu Li lured a group of barbarians to the distance. He killed those and came back to lure more and more, over and over and over again…
Lu Li was fast. The barbarians were not even in their best abilities and speed. Formations of those lured away began to stretch out. After Lu Li ran for more than 30 miles, he would stop, turn around and harvest barbarians’ heads.
Clones, golden needles of psychic power and random cuts with the saber had made one barbarian after another lose their heads. They collapsed to the ground which was their last resting place.
A blood fight began and it lasted for a long time. It was not an easy task to kill so many barbarians in a short time. Lu Li was in the fight for four hours before he killed four or five hundred of them.
“I will go now!”
After killing the first batch of barbarians, Lu Li made up his mind and flew away. Time was ample. There was no need for him to kill all of them in one go. He needed time to rest, to recharge and recover his fighting abilities to the peak in case his carelessness might get him in trouble.
Lu Li found a secluded cave where he sat with his legs crossed to cultivate for half a day. Then he ate to his heart’s content before he set off to the base camp of barbarians again.
A group of barbarians rushed out while screaming before the royal disciple gave the order when Lu Li came back. He retreated while he fought. Once again, he lured a group of barbarians away and began the massacre.
It went on like this repeatedly…
After a couple of days, more than half of the barbarians in the base camp were slayed by Lu Li. Now, all the barbarians knew how horrifying Lu Li was. Not one of them who left to hunt down Lu Li came back. On the contrary, Lu Li would walk back carefreely after more than half a day.
“Rustle, rustle, rustle~”
It was a windy day. Sands covered the sun and the sky. Lu Li came over through the sand and wind all by himself. He dressed like he always did, a cyan robe, which gave him a delicate look. He carried the saber on his back but no emotion on his face. His steps were light. It seemed like he was even trembling a little in the gale and could be pounded by the copper hammer…
That being said, this puny human had become the nightmare for the barbarians. He had killed more than 2000 barbarians in a couple of days. So many barbarians that were full of vim and vigor several days ago had become cold, headless bodies.
Lu Li stopped about 2000 feet away from the base camp. He stood there quietly. There were more than 2000 barbarians left in the base camp but none of them would come out.
Such an insignificant human was faced with thousands of beast-like barbarians but the barbarians were the ones afraid to move. It was unexpected and unrealistic but it was the truth.
Lu Li drew his saber slowly and pointed at the barbarians from the distance. He put on a mocking smile but said nothing. His expression and gesture were humiliation and provocation enough.
He was laughing at the barbarians in a silent way and calling them cowards!
“Too far!”
The royal disciple of the Barbarian Race was enraged. He yelled, biting his teeth in hatred. Taking the lead, he rushed out of the base camp.
The other barbarians were motivated when they saw their prince taking actions in person. They roared and followed him over in rage as well.
“Ha, ha, ha, ha!”
Lu Li laughed. He took out his Fate Wheel and flew back while generating clones. This time, he moved to the right to kill the average barbarians.
As for the royal disciple, Lu Li was afraid to fight that one for now because he was followed by a group of powerful barbarians. Also, by being the royal disciple, he must have a special means to protect himself. Lu Li could not take the risk now.
The bloody battle came back again. Lu Li stepped back while he fought the barbarians and lured yet another bunch of them away. The royal disciple went after him for 30 miles before he gave up. He was not as fast as Lu Li and his escorts forbid him taking such risks.
“I heard that a young lady on the human side has received divine energy from the Emperor of Heaven Reverse and she will become the chosen warrior for the future. Now there is such a devil in human. Does it mean that the Barbarian Race is destined to doom?”
The royal disciple of the Barbarian Race sighed. He had a feeling. If Lu Li could survive, after decades of time, this young man would be the biggest enemy for the barbarians…
