Chapter 414: Save Him

Chapter 414: Save Him

Yu Huashen came back after 10 days. He came with many craftsmen who dug out the mud puddle and built a formation outside of the Teleportation Formation.

Once some alien races teleported from the Deserted World, they would be entrapped by the formation and those guarding the formation would be alarmed.

Lu Li was still worried so he ordered to build another formation. With two layers of protection, he could have enough time to be alarmed even if someone as powerful as Human Sovereign Realm warriors rushed out from the Deserted World.

Once the warning was received, those guarding the exit at the small world of Green Dwarfs would destroy the tunnel immediately. They might not have a chance to be back at the Deserted World, but at least they could still have the Northern Desert intact.

The formations were finished. Lu Li asked Bai Leng to have some very loyal warriors of the Bai Family to guard here and asked all the others to leave.

Lu Li had given a gag order. He said nobody could say a single word about the small world of Green Dwarfs or the Deserted World and those that did would be killed.

Everyone had seen how Lu Li would honor his words. The Green Dwarfs were all killed. Anyone dared to leak any information would be killed and his or her family would be destroyed as well.

Lu Li took the lead and jumped into the abyss of the exit. With a white glare, they emerged in the area of demons.

There were many Xuan Beasts in this area but they were scared off by the presence of so many powerful warriors. Lu Li and the others flew up.

“Well, there are tornados.”

There were rain and powerful winds, and lightning flashed as thunder rumbled. Lu Li saw a huge tornado in the distance in midair.

It was similar to the scene in the ocean. Lu Li felt something. He took out an Iron-armored Ship, flew on, waved to Yu Huashen and said, “Yu Huashen, I will leave the rest of the matter to you. I will cultivate here for a while.”

Yu Huashen’s and Ming Yu’s eyes kindled. They both knew how Lu Li “felt something” at the ocean. To be able to understand Profound Meaning of heaven and earth was a big deal. At the initial stage after the empire was established, there were many things to be dealt with. But Lu Li had always freed himself from all those issues so it wouldn’t make much of a difference for him to cultivate here or back at the Ling Empress City.

“I will stay here with Clan Leader Ye. Yu Huashen and Zi Huanqiao, go back now. Keep the Northern Desert in order.”

Ming Yu thought about it and said to Yu Huashen and Zi Huanqiao who nodded. With Ye Cha and Ming Yu here, Lu Li’s safety wouldn’t be an issue. Yu Huashen and Zi Huanqiao were both generals so they had a lot on their plates. They didn’t have the luxury of time to be with Lu Li here.

“Qiuxue, go back first. Your aunt is worried about you.”

Bai Leng whispered to Bai Qiuxue who was looking at Lu Li. She nodded. She flew to the Iron-armored Ship, walked over to Lu Li and said, “Lu Li, I will go back now and I will come here later.”

“Okay, sure!”

Lu Li smiled and then gazed into the tornado. The others came to say goodbye, to which Lu Li turned a deaf ear. He had his entire mind focused on the tornado.

He had a feeling… this time, he might be able to understand the Profound Meaning contained in the tornado.

The others left. Yu Huashen had someone to stay behind and to destroy the tunnel to the small world of Green Dwarfs once something went wrong.

Bai Qiuxue left as well. They all went to the Heaven Prison Island and teleported away. Three patriarchs of the Cyan Phoenix Race left as well. Ye Cha asked them to go back and have a look to see if the Mammoth Race had started the cultivation of the Noble Lord Realm.

“Closer!”

After everyone was gone, Lu Li asked Ming Yu to fly the Iron-armored Ship closer to the tornado. When he was more than10 miles closer, he said to Ming Yu, “You can go back now as well. Clan Leader Ye here is good enough. Tell your secret agents to develop well and I want you to have every piece of information of the Northern Desert. Also… don’t say a word about the Deserted World or we will all die. Anyone that dares to leak the information must be dealt with death, even Yu Huashen.”

Ming Yu was one of Lu Li’s most trusted guys. The latter had created the secret agents to be able to keep an eye on the entire Northern Desert and to keep it in his own hands.

Ming Yu knew this was a grave matter and that Lu Li would be safe here in the Northern Desert. Lu Li was quite a good warrior in himself and Ye Cha would be here. So Ming Yu left, leaving only Ye Cha to be with Lu Li.

It was still raining and the wind was raging on. Thunder and lightning shook the world. Lu Li was drenched but he didn’t mind it. He stood on the Iron-armored Ship and gazed into the tornado.

Ye Cha went back to the cabin to cultivate. But he kept his psychic power active so he could keep tabs on everything.

The Northern Desert was peaceful. Under the governance of Madam Yan, the Northern Desert was booming. On the surface, Lu Feixue was not involved in any management but she had been putting her guard up and monitoring everything.

Bai Qiuxue went back to the Heaven Prison City and Bai Xiashuang and Zi Lian were both here. They teleported to the Ling Empress City to see Madam Yan.

Bai Qiuxue didn’t say much, not even to her closest aunt. She knew that the more she said about the Deserted World, the more danger the Northern Desert would face. Also, she was ashamed to say that she had learnt a skill of the Hag Race.

Madam Yan was so clever that she managed to extract a lot of useful information from Bai Qiuxue’s simple words. But she also knew that Lu Li must have blocked the passage of information for a reason. Even though there were many things she could not figure out, she would listen to Lu Li’s orders nonetheless as the Bai Family was in the same boat with Lu Li.

After staying at the Bai Empress City for seven or eight days, Bai Qiuxue could not sit still and said that she wanted to go back to the Heaven Prison City to cultivate. Bai Qiuxue was more restless. Madam Yan would educate her all the time but if she went back to the Heaven Prison City, she would be as free as a bird.

Madam Yan sent Bai Qiuxue a meaningful glance and let them go without saying anything. Madam Yan was quite confident about Bai Qiuxue to know how to behave.

As Madam Yan expected, after staying at the Heaven Prison City for a few days, the twins left with someone to the area of demons to look for Lu Li.

Madam Yan was not angry upon learning the news. Instead, she felt pleased.

There was an emperor in the Northern Desert but no queen. Madam Yan only asked someone to the nearby region to keep the twins safe and nothing else.

Bai Qiuxue and Bai Xiashuang flew to the area of demons on Iron-armored Ships. Today, thunder was still roaring and rain was pouring down. In the middle of the lake, there was a tornado, swirling up the waters.

“Eh?”

They found nobody on the deck of the Iron-armored Ship. Instead, they seemed to see a man very close to the tornado in the distance.

“Lu Li!”

They saw clearly after moving closer. Bai Xiashuang’s jaw dropped so much that she could fit an egg in her mouth.

In the distance in the giant tornado, Lu Li was spinning, pulled by the tornado, on his silver Fate Wheel. He seemed to have lost control of his body and he was being sucked into the eye of the tornado.

“Swish—”

Right at that moment, a strike of lightning pierced through the sky and shot into the waters close to the tornado where Lu Li was. Bai Xiashuang and Bai Qiuxue turned pale at the scene.

“Save him!”

Bai Xiashuang thought Lu Li was in danger so she could not keep her calm. She controlled the Iron-armored Ship to fly over. Suddenly, a person flew out from the Iron-armored Ship in front of them and stopped the twins. He cupped his fists and said, “Ladies, please don’t be alarmed. Young Master is cultivating and he has been cultivating like this for a few days…”
