Chapter 229 The Arena Eats Itself
His words had not be low.
He had said them with incredible confidence and pride.
And these demons had head the haughtiness in his voice.
Seeing as Chaos magic seemed to radiate from his body, the demons immediately thought that he was a devil.
However, while they still basked in the warm sunlight of confusion, A123 made his move.
The thin line like a mouth placed vertical in the middle of his chest suddenly opened up.
It revealed rows and rows of uneven teeth.
And then in the center, a red eye opened up like it was a dead man being brought to life.
*VOICE OF BEDLAM!*
What happened next could only be described as a rush of sound waves from his chest into the surrounding space.
Waves upon waves rushed out in all directions, even bouncing off the walls to re-echo once more.
A123 gave every thing he had for this scream.
All his strength had been pulled together to give this home, this place that he so hated, the final \'Fuck you\' that he thought it deserved.
Unlike before, the Voice of Bedlam lasted a for a full eight seconds, and then, it suddenly seized.
The Arena entered a deadly state of absolute silence.
This silence only lasted two seconds before it finally began.
The Choas was nothing like it had ever happened before.
The entire Arena was tearing itself apart.
Lenny had knelt and wept tears of joy the last time A123 had used his ability.
If he was here right now, only heavens would know what he would do.
Everybody had been affected.
In fact, some of the sound waves from the Voice of Bedlam had seeped deep into the ground.
It affected both demons and Half orns underground.
This was it.
This was the total an utter annihilation of this Arena.
Like the Ouroboros, symbolizing the great serpent eating its own tail, this great Arena of blood, of pain, of birth and death was going to eat itself out.
It was going to wash itself clean of its own suffering with its own blood.
Such repentance was the only salvation it deserved.
Maybe it was because of the chaos magic in his body, but he no longer felt disgust as he watched these monsters tear themselves apart.
These demons that had laughed and cheered as he sweet and toiled for his survival.
These demons that enjoyed the pain he felt when he broke his bones.
These demons that had cheered when friends and those he called his brothers died.
These demons were now getting their just treatment.
They were getting a taste of his revenge.
They were getting a taste of his hate, anger, and every negative energy he had ever felt as a result of their presence in his life.
The thought of it brought unimaginable joy to his heart.
He could not help crack a faint smile that soon burst into full blown laughter.
Although it was bad that for this plan to work, they had to be Half-born sacrifices.
However, A123 did not think himself a saint.
Even his own friends, sisters and brothers had died by his hands.
But with the end of the arena, he felt a couple more dying here and now was not at all a bad choice.
At the moment, he felt like a liberator of sorts.
At least this way, many would not have to be born and die in this godforsaken place.
While he enjoyed the chaos he caused, they was a sudden burst in the Arena.
A portal suddenly opened up and a person was sent flying like a ball for the goal post.
*Fuup!*
The individual darted through the air.
*Boom!*
The hit was right where the audience usually sat.
The hit on the audience stand was so heavy that the demons tearing themselves apart were turned to meat paste as the person that was shot dug into the ground.
A123\'s attention was immediately drawn to this.
Slowly, the person stood to his feet.
He had a broken Katana in one hand.
Even though he was bloody from the meat paste all around him, A123 recognized him on first sight.
"D999!?"
Lenny stood up gently.
He cracked his neck a little to the right and then again to the left.
He looked at the portal.
The portal shimmered a little and a person stepped out.
The sight of whom made A123 frown tightly.
It was no one else but the Magistri.
Lenny looked at him, unbothered by the demons causing chaos around him.
As if aware that his power was beyond there\'s, they also did not come close to him.
"You did not tell me you had advanced! What is it now, rank six lesser demon realm?"
Lenny stated.
"After the trouble you caused at the Tournament, Lord Cuban saw it fit to advance my strength." The Magistri replied.
"Trouble I caused? You fucking asshole! Don\'t you mean trouble YOU caused?" Lenny retorted.
"That..." The Magistri paused a bit, his eyes revealing that his next words were difficult, "was the old me. This, me, lives only for this Arena and the Worship of Lord Cuban."
He spoke with such distinction that it felt to Lenny like this unfortunate man was trying to convince himself.
Lenny chuckled like a child that had just found a juicy secret.
"Oh! So you still have a bit of hope, and here I thought you had gone dick soft on me."
Lenny spread his hands wide, "Take a big look, is this your Arena!?"
The Magistri had been focused on Lenny since he arrived because of the obvious threat that this underestimated Half born posed.
He had even forgotten to notice that the demons were behaving strangly.
It was only now that he looked around and he saw it clearly.
The demons were riping themselves apart.
