Chapter 64 Defeating An Otherworld Cyborg
Chapter 64 Defeating An Otherworld Cyborg
Well, he didn\'t care even if the cyborg knew about his information since the victor of this battle was already predetermined. It was impossible for Alister to lose unless another cyborg appeared or the cyborg was stronger than it seemed.
Alister would only lose if the cyborg was at the peak stage of Transcendent King. Otherwise, Alister was still confident that he could defeat a Transcendent King who was at the initial and intermediate stages.
As for those Transcendent Kings who were at the Late Stage, Alister was only confident he could tie with them. But that was still Alister\'s conservative estimate as he had yet to encounter a Transcendent King and he wasn\'t certain of how powerful they were.
If they were weaker than his estimation, then that would be for the best.
While Alister was observing the cyborg, the cyborg did the same. It was only after a minute\'s worth of passivity that Alister and the cyborg held a tacit understanding in continuing their battle!
Creating a sword out of the air, Alister decided to hold back some of his power to test the power of the cyborg. He didn\'t use his sword intent and only used pure air power from his air superpower.
Otherwise, if he used sword intent, then that would be overkill. After all, according to its description, his sword intent could possibly harm gods as it contained a fragment of divinity.
The power of a red-grade simulation talent was not to be underestimated!
Responding to Alister\'s action, the cyborg held its right hand in place using its left hand. Afterward, several compartments opened from the right arm of that cyborg.
What accompanied it was countless missiles and a rocket launched toward Alister. It was even homing projectiles as when Alister tried to dodge, it followed him.
Left with no choice, Alister released a wind shockwave around him with himself as the center, causing the homing projectiles to be pushed away from him. Alister repelled all of the missiles and rockets as they detonated in the air.
But since the explosion occurred several meters away from him, it still sounded quite loud. However, that didn\'t cause any harm to Alister as he became unscathed from his confrontation against the cyborg.
\'It seems that the cyborg\'s missiles and rockets aren\'t ordinary. At least, even the missiles and rockets that I have played with in the zombie world were far inferior in terms of power.\'
\'I won\'t even doubt that if this cyborg was defeated, this cyborg would self-destruct and cause a city-wide explosion. Is there perhaps a nuclear bomb planted inside the core of the cyborg?\'
\'Even if it\'s not a nuclear bomb, it should at least be the energy that powered the cyborg, and such a potent energy would still be quite powerful if it was detonated.\'
When Alister thought of that, he was starting to wonder whether this was the transcendent association\'s invention.
But with how hostile the cyborg was when it spoke about Transcendents before, Alister felt that the cyborg wasn\'t invented by the transcendent association.
\'Even if the cyborg was the transcendent association\'s invention, it is at least currently hostile towards the transcendent association. Unless that\'s the purpose of the transcendent association which was to mislead me into thinking that it was hostile to it yet it wasn\'t but was manually controlled by a staff in the transcendent association.\'
\'But if it is the latter, then the transcendent association must have discovered my identity as a transcendent or wanted to eliminate trash like me. Either way, I don\'t care much since I can obtain the parts of this cyborg and give them to Yun Ren and the Cloud Sect so that they can reverse engineer this.\'
Since the cyborg couldn\'t pose a threat to him, Alister didn\'t treat it that seriously and even planned to use this opportunity to give the parts of this cyborg to Yun Ren and the Cloud Sect so that the zombie world could benefit from it.
With that plan in mind, Alister decided to keep the cyborg as intact as possible.
Remembering that he had possessed his technokinesis power in his absolute mind power, Alister used the power of the mind to make the cyborg\'s body disassemble and collapse.
But when it was halfway disassembled, Alister could see flashing blue lights in the core of the cyborg\'s body which he could guess as it\'s attempt to self-destruct.
Fortunately, he managed to prevent it in time by using his technokinesis again to deactivate the self-destruction sequence.
After deactivating the self-destruction of the cyborg\'s core, Alister saw that the cyborg\'s core which was blue in color had slightly dimmed but it still contained potent energy. From the energy it contained, he wouldn\'t doubt that it could raze down a city!
\'Phew! Good thing I managed to prevent its self-destruction. Although I already know that most of the people in this neighborhood had been killed by the cyborg, it\'s not like I truly care about their lives.\'
\'What mattered is that I have managed to obtain a new source of energy as well as a new type of battery. With this, Yun Ren and the other geniuses in the zombie world could find ways to make use of this new energy and develop a method to create more of it.\'
Alister commented as he stared at the blue core that was emanating radioactive blue energy and light around its surroundings. Although it might only look like cool visual effects, holding or being exposed to the blue light of the cyborg\'s core could cause some side effects on the human body caused by radiation.
However, Transcendents who possessed mana should be able to counteract its effects but normal humans couldn\'t.
Alister had used his air manipulation to manipulate the air densities to keep the radiation in the core and prevent it from leaking to the surroundings.
But before Alister could start storing all of the parts of the cyborg in his system inventory, he heard someone talk above him.
"You will be rewarded for your efforts of defeating the otherworld cyborg. However, you need to hand the parts of the cyborg to the Transcendent Association."
