Chapter 373 Turbulent Times Ahead
With a flash of light, Garr\'s figure appeared in the dark throne room that belonged to the Chaos God he served.
"Master-"
"Useless trash!" Before he could speak, the Chaos God had already opened its mouth and spat out a sentence. The words pressed heavily on Garr and forced him flat on the ground. "I gave you power that is unimaginable in the mortal realm! YET! You still come here crawling in failure! I don\'t know how you even got to where you were in the first place!" The Chaos God was furious!
After it had finished berating Garr, its aura receded, giving the Undead a bit of space to catch his breath.
Garr had nothing to say in his defense. It was just as his master had said. He had been granted unimaginable power that could rule over entire swathes of Datar, and yet he had failed to complete his mission.
"I have no use for you anymore. You can do what you want. I will send someone else to take care of the Necromancer." The Chaos God\'s hoarse voice made the throne room tremble.
"...As you wish, master." Garr remained on the floor and pressed his forehead to the floor. He felt immense shame wash through his body. Never in his long life had he bowed like this to another being. The only reason why he had chosen to be more closely tied to the Chaos God was because he wanted the power to wipe the floor with Leon. Unfortunately, he had not anticipated that Leon and his forces would undergo such a drastic growth in a such a short timeframe.
The Chaos God tapped his claws on the arm rest of his throne and Garr vanished from his sight. The throne room remained silent for some time before he snorted.
"Garessa, come out." He called out and a black vortex appeared at the foot of his throne. From the vortex, a two meter tall figure covered in a ragged robes walked out.
"Your Excellency, you called for me." The figure said, falling to one knee. A rough, feminine voice drifted out from beneath the ragged hood.
"Garessa, I want you to gather your forces and go to the Central Continent. Strike the one called Leon Cromwell and erase him from the surface of the earth!" The Chaos God spoke in a deep tone.
"Your wish is my command." The robed figure nodded and vanished back into the vortex before it closed.
After the vortex disappeared, the Chaos God fell back into silence as he thought of what was going on right now. If he could, he would have gone to deal with Leon himself, but the moment he acted, several other Gods would take notice. He had to send his absolute best to destroy Leon!

In Fort White...
Leon held his chin in thought as he looked at the four legged demonic beast in front of him. Naiki was truly unlucky. He had encountered the Ten Knights at the entrance to the resting place of the Nameless Order where it had been beaten up and killed before being transformed into one of the combatants of the Order. It was extremely pitiful.
However, it was also a good source of information!
Leon had listened to what Naiki had to tell him, and after listening, he had come to understand that the Demon King had been aware of the existence of the Nameless Order and had been searching for its location for a long time.
After reaching A rank, Naiki had gotten a strong location skill which had allowed him to search for many things. Although it was not perfect, it had boasted about its ability and somehow, news had reached the Demon King who had summoned him and given him the order to search for the Nameless Order.
"Tell me more about the Demon King. How strong is he?" Leon asked Naiki. As Naiki was his only source of valuable intel of the inner workings of the Demon Continent, he valued this new addition to his forces very well.
"I do not know much about the Demon King, master. I was only a messenger to him. His strength, though, is a legend all through the Demon Continent. All Demons revere him and look up to him. The legends say that he can move a mountain with a casual wave and cause the continent to quake by releasing his aura. I have personally never seen him fight, and have only felt his restrained aura sometimes. But he is no weaker than you." Naiki said honestly.
"I see." Leon muttered. "How old is he?"
"According to the legends, he is as old as five hundred years, but even then, the stories are mostly fictions. No one knows how old he really is."
The lack of solid information was rather irritating to Leon. He hummed and stood up from his chair then walked over to the window to look outside. He was feeling a bit troubled. Even with the war coming to a close, things remained rather tense around him. Another being was after the Nameless Order before him, and it was someone who was surely at the peak of this world. Leon was sure that this person that had been accumulating for an unknown number of years would be powerful enough to give Garr a run for his money on his own. Who knew how many powerful minions he had that could match Garr\'s strength, especially if a High A rank like Naiki was only used as a messenger.
"In the future, there will be a lot of trouble. And I\'m still not done with achieving any of my goals. I still haven\'t reached my limit." Leon spoke to himself as Naiki remained where he had left him. It gave anyone who looked at the scene a feeling that they were looking at a god and his subordinate. After all, Leon\'s appearance was not ordinary and looked even more striking and extravagant than that of some Gods.
