Chapter 150 - Jasmine's Sincere Opinion Of Jackson
"Why not? At least taking a shower with you will be more fun," Jackson said inaudibly.
"What did you say?" Jasmine who heard him mumble words asked before she sat down.
"Nothing," Jackson said giving her the innocent look.
"Let me feed," Jasmine said as she scooped the food with the spoon. She brought it close to his mouth.
"Are you sure about...,"
"Just eat and stop talking. I have already promised Lilian that I will take care of you, I can't go back on my words," Jasmine who just poured the content of the spoon into his mouth said. Jackson smiles when he heard how she was trying to use Lilian as a cover-up to why she was taking good care of him.
Jasmine continues feeding Jackson and at intervals, she also eats from the same plate.
After they were done eating they went to the sitting room.
"Lillian, get me the first aid box," Jasmine said after they had relaxed for at least ten minutes.
"Ok, Young Miss," Lilian said before she walked away. She came back about two minutes later with the blue plastic box. She dropped it on the centre table close to Jasmine.
"You can leave, she will call you if she needs you," Jackson said firmly.
"Yes, Young Master," Lilian said before she turned and left.
"Instead of acting so cold, he should just say he wants to spend time alone with her," Lilian mumbled before she disappeared.
Jasmine treated Jackson's wound with so much care this time around. She made sure she thoroughly disinfected the wound before she proceeded with other treatments.
"Thank you. I wouldn't have known what to do if you weren't here to take care of me," Jackson said after she had finished dressing the wound.
"It's nothing. Don't read too much meaning into it because I am sure I would have done the same for anyone if they were in your shoes," Jasmine said as she closed the first aid box.
"You would have done all you did for me today for just anyone, are you sure of that?" Jackson emphasized it so that she will think more about what her reply will be.
Jasmine thought about what he said. With her personality, she rarely cares about people. In fact, she could count the number of people she cares about with her five fingers so that means she wouldn't have taken care of just anybody. She would have acted indifferently just like she has been doing but for some unknown reason, she couldn't ignore him.
"I guess you are an exception," Jasmine said before she called Lilian.
The moment Lilian carried the box ready to leave, Jackson talked.
"None of you should show your face in the sitting room except when called for, understood?" Jackson asked sternly.
Even without saying it, none of us has the guts to interrupt your sweet moment. We all cherish our lives.
Lilian thought forgetting to give Jackson a response. It was when her gaze met his fierce glares that she recalls that he was waiting for her response.
"Understood," Lilian replied in a calm tone before she exited the sitting room.
Jasmine pretended as though she did not see how Jackson was acting. She picked up his laptop and began working on what she promised him.
She worked on the speech first and after she was done she moved to write the business proposal. With Jackson's outline, she was able to come with something amazing.
I guess she wasn't lying when she said she was a born genius.
Jackson who barely finished reading the proposal she wrote thought.
"Do you need me to help you with anything else? Say it because I might not be able to help you again after today," Jackson said as she cracked her knuckles.
"Jasmine, what do you think about my progress for the training? Did I improve? Do you think I can confess my feelings to her now? In your opinion would she like me?" Jackson asked as he dropped the laptop on the centre table.
"Jackson, why are you so anxious? It's so unlike your confident and cold self," Jasmine said as she drew closer to him.
"Well, on the training on how to court a lady, you are doing excellently well and I think you are ready to confess to her now," Jasmine said as she forces on a smile.
"In my opinion, you are rich, cool, tall and handsome. You are every lady's dream man so I don't think any lady in her right mind will reject you for anything in this world," Jasmine concluded in a serious tone.
"Is that your opinion of me or what others think of me?" Jackson asked staring into her sapphire captivating eyes.
"To me, you are cold but I consider that as part of your charms. I mean I love it when you act cold. I am always tempted to melt that coldness of yours whenever you are cold to me," Jasmine said smiling brightly.
"Although you are cold, you are also thoughtful and caring. Despite that you suck at choosing ladies undies, I think that you will make a good although not a perfect husband because there is no such thing as perfection," Jasmine added.
"Overall, I think you are a nice guy. I don't see the reason why you want to change yourself for a lady who might not be worth it. To me, you are perfect just the way you are. If I was the lady you love I wouldn't have wanted you to change yourself. This is my honest answer, Ice Prince," Jasmine said as she stares into his eyes.
"Your reply has made my day. This is the reply I needed to assure me that I am on the right track. Thank you so much, Jasmine," Jackson said as he smiles at her.
"Yeah, that is how you should act. If she dares to reject you, tell me and I will not hesitate to beat some senses into her. I wouldn't mind entering a fake relationship with you just to make her die of jealousy, so cheer up," Jasmine said as she pats him by the shoulder.
"Aren't you afraid that it will be Kai who will get jealous that you are dating me?" Jackson asked playfully.
"I am sure he will be cool with it...,"
"If it was you would you be cool if your husband dates another woman?" Jackson asked his expression turning serious.
"Kai called earlier after you left the bathroom in a rush without carrying your phone," Jackson decided to change the topic when he saw that it was taking her quite a long time to come up with a reply.
"What did he say?" Jasmine asked in a carefree tone.
"He wanted to remind you about your date. He did not only sound jealous to hear my voice but also angry," Jackson said not revealing what he said that made Kai angry.
"Damn! I forgot about how our date because I was worried about how the foolish guy will fare with his injured hand," Jasmine mumbled to herself.
"I guess he is angry because I have been ditching all our dates for the past one month but I am sure his anger will vanish the moment I peck him," Jasmine said shamelessly.
"He is too innocent so I am sure he will fall for my trick...,"
"No man is innocent when it comes to the place of a woman and also no man is gentle in bed so don't be deceived into thinking that he is innocent," Jackson said as he tried his best to hide his jealousy.
"Are you saying you are a beast in bed?" Jasmine said as she brought her face very close to his face.
"Why don't you come let's go to my bedroom, I am sure you won't need me to tell you whether I am an angel in bed or a demon...,"
"No thanks," Jasmine said firmly as she pulled away from him. After pulling away she checked her wristwatch.
"Ice Prince, I need to go back now," Jasmine announced to disappointment of Jackson. The feeling of having her around was enough to keep him happy until the next day but hearing that she was gonna leave he couldn't stop himself from feeling sad. He has gotten so used to having her around to the point that he sometimes forgot their real relationship.
"It is quite late so how about your sleepover tonight. I will make sure that Thomas drops you at home early morning," Jackson suggested, his gaze focused on her.
"No thanks, my father will not hesitate to break my legs If his men following me dares tell him that I sleepover at a man's home. Your life won't be saved," Jasmine said as she stood up.
If she wants to reject me she should just say it outrightly like she normally did instead of using her old man as an excuse because I know that she is not scared of that old man.
Jackson thought as he stares at Jasmine whose handbag she has already carried from the table.
"Let me drop you," Jackson said standing up.
