Chapter 628 A Secret Only Whom You Trust Completely Can Know
The woman who appeared in Yuan Meng's memory appeared sick.
But the disease was something which no one had ever been able to understand or ever cure for a long time.
Meanwhile, beside the woman, by the side of her head, there was a small girl dozing off.
One could see that the little girl had slept after crying for a long time as her eyes turned sore and even her eyebags appeared swollen.
If one looked at the little girl beside the bed of the woman, they couldn't help but feel pity for this little child who might have cried for who knows how long and only stopped until she slept.
"COUGH COUGH"
While lying on the bed, the woman coughed a few times thus waking the little girl beside her.
"Mom, mom, are you well."
The little girl almost jumped in first as soon as she woke up after seeing her mother coughing.
"I am fine Meng, just give me a glass of water."
The woman smiled while intending her hand and searching for her girl's head and caressed it with love.
"Yes, Mom, just a bit, I will come with water."
The little girl nodded while taking the hand off her cheek and holding it tightly.
It felt as if she didn't want to leave her mother, but she had to since her mother was thirsty.
Meanwhile, the woman's eyes were still closed for who knows what reason, but just as the little girl turned to the jar, the woman took a glance at her daughter.
There was a flicker of green glow in her eyes and they continued to shine like this.
"I am afraid that you would think that mother is a monster if you look at my eyes."
The woman mumbled seeing the back of her daughter with love filled in her eyes as tears continued to roll down the corner of them.
"I can't even see my child's face for the last time I am about to live."
"What kind of curse is this?"
The woman mumbled with a pained look on her face as she saw how carefully her daughter filled the glass of water for her and couldn't help but feel even more sad.
"Mommy, are you feeling better?"
The little girl asked as she turned to see her mother only to see that she had turned her head in the opposite direction.
"COUGH "
"Hmm, because of my sweet daughter's care, Mom is feeling so much better."
The woman took the glass off the little girl's hand after waving her hand in the air to search for it for a few moments.
"Really Mommy?"
"If Mommy is feeling better because I took care of you then I will always be with you and take your care all the time."
As if feeling ecstatic, the little Meng beamed with joy as she crawled onto the bed and snuggled into her mother's embrace.
Meanwhile, the woman was still sipping on the water, but couldn't help but laugh out hearing her daughter's words.
"Then what about your school?"
A gentle smile appeared on her lips as she caressed her daughter's face and placed her tiny head on her bosom while asking.
"Umm, then I will never go to school."
With a determined look, the little girl said while taking her mother's face in her small palms and caressing her cheeks.
"Haha, if you don't study then how is anyone going to marry my little baby daughter?"
"Humph, if you feel better with me then I will always be with you, as for the person whom I marry, I will make him live with us and take care of you together with him."
Little Meng said with an annoyed face as she made tiny fists from her hands as if she was already about to make her husband stay with her and her mother.
"Haha, so sweet."
The mother couldn't help but shed tears from her closed eyes hearing her daughter speak such things.
No matter that she was not able to see her daughter's face right now, she could still imagine and tell how energetic her daughter was.
"But don't you know that when a girl marries, they will have to go to their husband's house?"
"Umm...umm."
The little girl was wiping the tears of her mother and didn't know what to say, her mother would always use to say that she would marry in the future and would get a loving family and husband, but there was not really anything she understood.
Seeing that her little daughter had become senseless, the mother couldn't help but chuckle as she caressed the girl's hair.
"See you can't always be there with me, you will have your family and will have to take care of them as well."
Just as the mother was about to continue, the little girl grabbed her neck and hugged her tightly and sobbed while shaking her head with vigour.
"Umm-hmm."
"No I won't leave you, SOBB, I will ask them to bring you with me, if I should stay with them, then...SOBB then I will take your care, I won't leave you."
"SNIFF"
Hearing her little girl crying, the mother sighed and caressed her back gently.
"Here, let Mom tell you a secret of our family."
Hering the word secret, the little girl immediately stopped crying.
"Huh, what kind of secret mommy?"
"But promise me that you will not tell this to anyone else other than the person whom you trust with all of your being?"
The mother's face turned serious as if she was about to tell her daughter which would create astonishing wonders if the information was known by anyone else.
Although little Meng didn't quite understand as to what her mother meant, but she defiantly understood that she should not say this to anyone else.
"Hmm."
The little girl nodded as she extended her pinky finger towards her mother's hand and hooked her tiny with her mother's elegant and beautiful finger.
"Mommy, I promise, I won't tell the secret to anyone."
