Chapter 178: Getting a Cavern, Quick Wipe-out
A couple of groups in the middle were on the floor while discussing and talking with a barrier around them.
They looked at Lilith and others who just entered but minded their own business after glancing at them.
"They are small-fries Noble-orders. It seems that they didn\'t get any Serene Spots," Lilith remarked. "Or should be on their way to search for other spots."
"I\'ll map this mountain," Erix said as his eyes flashed silver briefly before the scenery before he changed.
He could see through the walls, so he looked around and scanned the entire mountain with his Space Mapping, creating a 3D model of the mountain.
"Alright, there\'s a big cave with nine presences inside," Erix said as he turned to Lilith. "That should be a large cave with Serene Spots, right? I can also sense the spots since they give a unique aura and there are ten spots in this cave."
Lilith grinned. "That\'s a big and perfect cavern."
"Now, let\'s teleport outside the cave because teleporting inside wouldn\'t be possible."
"Yep," Erix stretched his hand. "Everyone, hands."
Everyone put their hands on Erix\'s hand before they vanished a second later and appeared before a glowing black cave wall.
Lilith walked a few steps before turning around to face others, "Wait here. I\'ll go alone first. If there are royal order powerhouses, I\'ll make quick work of them."
"Humph, I won\'t be surprised if you can kill an Empyrean," Reinala snorted. "Why are you still in the Royal-order realm when your masteries are the same as those of Empyreans? To bully them?"
"Don\'t speak as if you know everything," Lily coldly said. "Lady Lilith had a troubling problem that was blocking her evolution and ascension."
"Well, It\'s not like I\'ve spent hundreds of years in royal order," Lilith smirked. "It\'s just an extra fifty years, which means I was already fast."
"Your age is higher than mine," Lilith smugly smiled. "So, don\'t blame others for your weakness."
Reinala clenched her fist. "I\'ll challenge you in the future after you let me go."
"Sure," Lilith chuckled as she turned around and entered the cave.
"Do you think there are multiple Royal orders inside?" Rin asked Erix. \'What makes this bitch think she will become free?\'
\'Who knows?\' Erix internally chuckled and replied. \'The only good thing about her is her figure and bloodline. We\'ll keep her until her use exhausts and then finish her off because I\'m sure she will want to get back on us after we let her go.\'
"No idea," Erix shook his head before he adopted a thoughtful expression. "Their presences were on the same aura intensity level, probably because they were focused and meditating on Serene Spots, which made their aura output minimum."
"Let\'s go inside," Lily suddenly said. "Lady Lilith called me."
"I\'ll stay outside," Reinala said casually. "I am weak, so tell me when you are done inside."
Lily had already entered while Erix grabbed Reinala\'s hand and forcefully took her inside. "Come inside, or I won\'t come inside."
"Pff….." Rin whizzed and elbowed Erix, "You rascle."
"Hahaha," Erix laughed.
"No, I want you to come inside..." Reinala muttered. "It\'s the best and peak moment when you pour it inside."
\'I\'ll have to agree with this,\' Rin chuckled.
\'When can I do it with you, babe? How much have you recovered?\'
\'Lilith\'s food recovered me, but you should exhaust this bitch first, so she can start recovering for the next session. After all, you need her essence more.\'
\'True.\'
The trio passed through the black wall of the cave magically and arrived in a huge cave beautifully illuminated by glowing white-yellow crystals.
There was also a small pond and greenery inside with trees and wooden abodes that the people inside created with someone\'s wood affinity.
"Do you think we\'ll lose against your noble orders?!"
"Quietly leave. We don\'t want conflicts."
\'Erix, blast them with your new weapon. They are all Noble-order hunters, so my attacks won\'t affect them.\'
Erix got Lilith\'s message and saw how they were gathered together in a defensive formation.
Without wasting even a second, Erix obscurely moved a couple of steps to go behind Rin and Lily since they stood ahead of him and created a wormhole with some space before putting his Star Plazma Pistol there from his Hunter Card using his space power.
None of them noticed the wormhole since it was before him and hidden behind Lily\'s and Rin\'s back. Those two also knew the plan, so they didn\'t move.
"Fine, we\'ll not risk it," Lilith said, clicking her tongue.
On the other hand, Erix didn\'t bother using normal shots and loaded an Ultima Bomb before pointing the pistol downward.
Ultima Bomb: Consume 1000 mana and exhaust all power of the Plazma Star Ore in the gun to shoot a condensed and powerful shot. Damage depends on the power left in Plazma Star Ore.
The pistol faced another wormhole near Erix\'s knees that was connected to a wormhole at the ceiling of the cave that was fourteen meters above, right on top of the group of nine people consisting of humans and beastfolks.
\'Bam,\' Erix pulled the trigger with his control.
The pistol turned slightly and glowed while shooting a single condensed dark purple energy shot that landed atop the barrier around the nine people within half a second.
*BOOM!*
A chaotic spiral of dark purple lightning tendrils containing extreme heat manifested upon the blast that put a hole in the barrier.
Three people instantly died when the tendrils struck them, while the others tried to use various defensive means and barely survived.
Suddenly, a huge condensed water python shot toward Rin and Lily, who were already halfway towards them.
"I got it," Rin said as her Blade Eater shaped into a Katana before a burst of electricity oozed out from her and the weapon.
Her figure vanished into a lightning bolt as she passed through the water dragon nake, cutting it into two before directly entering the fray of six people who survived the ambush of Ultima Bomb.
"Don\'t hit that Royal order even by mistake and kill the other four!" the middle-aged human with a sharp jaw face and long light brown hair shouted.
"Really?"
Suddenly, he heard an unfamiliar voice behind him and quickly swept his sword around, only for his arms to feel numb and cold after hitting something solid.
He turned around and saw Erix smiling at him while his sword was blocked by his left-hand gauntlet that produced a mini-round shield of dark blue color with icy-white patterns.
\'What the fuck is this Strenght stat?!\' the middle-aged man screamed internally because Erix had also grabbed his neck right after he turned to face him, and he couldn\'t budge from the grip.
"Too bad," Erix sighed as his right hand that grabbed the man\'s neck faintly shone before it blurred.
*BOOM!*
What he did was retract his hand from his neck, form it into a fist, and release a solid Sling Shot Punch that blasted his head.
"I told you all that you wouldn\'t win," Lilith sighed as she looked at the last two people in the group. "See, now your group died."
One was a dark green-haired human male looking in his late twenties and wearing a light-weight silver leather armor set.
Another was a beastfolk woman with long, sharp violet hair, white skin, and long violet bunny ears. She wore a tight ranger outfit showing her slim and curved physique with a modest bust.
"P-Please let me go," the man trembling said as he kneeled down.
The woman also pleaded as she stopped resisting.
The group was a makeshift group in the first place, consisting of duos and solos who gathered to form a big group for better safety.
"Will she be useful for Erix?" Rin asked as she pointed at the woman.
"Depending on her bloodline and power," Lilith crossed her arms. She looked at the man and said, "Take out everyone\'s Hunter Cards, and we\'ll let you go."
"T-Thank you," the man quickly nodded, and he was overjoyed to keep his life. He quickly went to the corpses and took out their hunter cards.
"What a-about me?" the bunny woman asked, gulping while sweat beads formed on her face and neck that dripped into her slightly visible cleavage.
